Zombie Apocalypse Overlay

Your computer is swarmed by zombies !
Fight them, type on your keyboard to shoot them and protect your computer !

This project is a Proof of Concept for an overlayed idle game concept. The main goal was to test a game made to be rendered always on top of other applications, and that would not require dedicated inputs from the "player".
The application has some specificities :

• It is always rendered  on top of other applications.
• It is transparent for most of it's part, and does not block clicks from the user.
• Keyboard inputs works no matter the application you are on.
• A Quit button and Settings button are available on the top left hand corner of the screen. They are hidden by default, you need to put your mouse on the very edge to show them. You can also access these with the system tray icon.

This is a solo project made with unity to make a prototype as fast as I can, but I now want to continue this project and finish it. Any feedbacks will help.

This application still needs optimisation. It takes a high amount of performances and might burn through your battery very quickly.

Known issues :

• Quality setting is for testing purpose. Higher qualities has VSync activated, which affects mouse refresh rate under certain conditions. "Very low" should be good for everybody.
• Frame rate will affect mouse refresh rate. Set it to your highest monitor refresh rate to reduce as much this problem.
• Solution is Windows specific. It should not work on Mac or Linux (not tested).
